Would I voluntarily give my life if it meant he would live, of course.He would do the same. I woudnt even be able to live a good life knowing that I knowingly did not save him from harm.

It is not a normal act to give your life for another.
One has to be put in that position first, before they can make that statement with any honesty.
I would guess that most happily married people wuld go to any great length to spare their spouse...even take a speeding bullet...
I would without reservation and will show you the razor scars on my body from an attack where I shielded my best friends wife and baby.
I think men will be the first to answer willingly...but I wouldn't be suprised to find many American women here saying the same thing.

Married has little to do with it a good person (that saw it coming) would take a bullet for another for lots of different reasons. But, yes husband or wife would take a bullet for the other if they weren't a selfish person.

If taking a bullet would save my hubby n kids, then yes, i would take the bullet. Believe it or not, kids and hubbies will get along just fine w/ out the mommy!! They learn to adjust and cope and go on. Is it fair to them? No but if it saves their life, they should be thankful.

Maybe! In my case my husband should take the bullet. We have four kids that need a Mom for the rest of their lives. My husband is a wonderful father, but it's hard to replace a Mother.

it depends. I think my kids need a mom..more than a dad. I can always find another good man to help raise the kids. He has a life insurance policy and I'm sure would also get SS..till the kids are 18. He probably wouldnt benefit much from my death. He'd take a bullet for me..and if i had no kids..I'd take one for him.

I would take a bullet for my kids by not my husband 1. Cuz he wouldn't be able to take care of all the kids 2. Cuz he would just replace me and get someone else to bring up my great kids
