Chris Rock, but that's obvious... I like George Carlin... Dane Cook is a relatively new joka that cracks me up... Dave Chappelle... Old school Richard Pryor, of course...

If Rob Newman's still going, he was jolly good. Americans include Denis Leary and Steve Wright (not the one on BBC Radio 2). Eddie Izzard, Jack Dee, well, it's all a question of taste really I suppose.

You should listen to Bill Hicks (NOT Dennis Leary who ripped him off almost word for word). Also, listen to Richard Pryor's early stuff, Steve Martin's VERY early stuff (like, mid-late 70's), and Eddie Murphy's earlier stuff. More recently, Eddie Izzard is pretty funny (though he is Martin-esque at times) and Lee Evans has started to find his niche, except for the dreadful songs at the end. For out-and-out wierdness, you can't go wrong with Dylan Moran or Bill Bailey.

Go to Yahoo Music and set "your" Station (LaunchCast Radio) to play comedy - you get some great stuff, from George Carlin, Steve Martin to Chris Rock. If you set Comedy to "can't get enough" and select some other genres of music, set to "It's OK", you get lots of comedy, with a bit of music inbetween. Listening to it now!
