Semen is a fluid escreated by the genitals during sex or when aroused. Qualitatively it is used for quatitative lubrication.

SEmen provides necessary nutrition to sperms to survive about 4 days. This is theory. IN practice, the semen of average youth is such that sperms can survive about 2 days only. Semen also kills vaginal acididty to some extent. It is highly alkaline. Sperms float in semen easily. and what you eat today, body takes about 49 days to make semen from it.

Semen- the white, slightly sticky alkaline fluid produced by sex organs, male and ejaculated from them. Semen is the vehicle for sperm. A normal ejaculate is about 2 to 5 cubic centimeters of semen, each cubic centimeter carrying 75,000,000 to 100,000,000 sperm. Sperm is produced in two testes/testacles and semen is produced in prostate gland and stored in seminal vesicles.
