While you could put a big mirror on the Moon to give more sunlight to the Earth, it would not always be there. The Moon is not always in the sky at night. Sometimes you see a full Moon which is up all night and sometimes a crescent Moon that sets a couple hours after the Sun.
Anyway, why would you want to do that? To increase global warming? To disturb astronomers who need dark skies? To ruin the natural sleeping and waking cycles of animals and people?

I dont think this is possible. We have to remember that the Moon is revolving around Sun and Earth is rotating as well as revolving. So, even the mirror is some how arranged on the surface, it should be such that it adjusts itself to provide proper angle between Sun & Earth.

More than that, when Moon is at the bright side of Earth, how can the light from mirror be used on the other side of Earth?
Also, when the Moon in behind Earth & Sun, it cant receive light from Sun and there is no question of reflection.

yes you think like my self,, the simple thinking r the best way of invention and i think your idea will come true in the near future but, will every one prefer a place without night?? we can use thin light reflecting material like silver tissue to be placed in the space!! think we can keep it in the moon it spins! so the reflector can be kept in space>>>> think of a Lance in the space which can make a high beam with high energy

I don't think reflected light is very bright. it is not as strong as the sun's light energy.and I don't want light 24 hours everyday, u kno i want sleep...

if that's done we'll have religious nutters like the supports of Iran's late Ayatollah, who after his return, put Iran back 400 years - again claiming the faithful can now see his constant reflection in it!

Reflected light (esp. that of our sun) would burn hotter than it does now.
