Your symptoms are those of a heart disease. Most likely Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD), in the making. It is more the result of a poor lifestyle than anyhing else. I will tell you my experience with it because I have also experienced it before, I can tell you the conditions that led to my experience and the conditions that could aggravate it, and what I did.

I was working on a very stressful project and putting in an average of 15 hours work a day, sometimes 20, in a sedantary position, little or no excercise, not enough rest, I was eating normally, a lot of sugary and sometimes fatty foods, I was drinking a lot of black coffee, and I was not checking my BP.

The result? My BP was creeping up gradually, undetected. I was having also headaches, and climbing staircases or having sex were really stressful activities resulting in panting and chest pain similar to yours.

What did I do? I started with an ECG test. Results were bad, alerting, but not alarming. I was not yet dead, but in real danger of killing myself.

I took a holiday. Lots of rest, lots of exercise, lots of sleep, I drank lots of water, and ate foods with proteins and high fibre content. I avoided coffee, chocolate, fatty foods, forgot about my project. I took a drug (get your doctors prescription!!!) that helped relax the chest muscles and helped me sleep as I could not initially sleep. I checked my BP everyday until it became normal again. After four weeks of the above, the chest pain and fatigue gradually dissapeared.

I have since then adopted a more healthy lifestyle. I work less(average 10hours a day - still relatively high), eat less fatty foods, excerise a lot, drink a lot of water, and I check my BP every month. I have not experienced the chest pain since.

Good luck to you!!!
