You may be using the word possessive wrong. Wanting to be with someone all the time isn't being possessive, that's being in love.

its not wrong to love someone that much. are you keeping him from his life though? are you restricting him to going out with his other friends, just so he can spend all his time with you? if so, that isnt healthy for him, and you may end up driving him away in the long run

no. it is not wrong if he feels the same. it is called being in love with each other. it is bad if he doesn't resiprocate. in that case it is being posessive.
