They are equal in rights and deserve the same amount of respect but are not 'identical'.

For example, a woman's body is not as tough as that of a man therefore forcing her (mostly thru propaganda) to work in industry and other rough-n-tough environments is simply exploitation. They are exploited in the name of equal rights in many ways by man.

One more example, they are made to wear (again tactfully) less cloths to entertain man's lustful eyes while he himself wears 6 times more cloths to protect his dignity...

Specially in west, a male is trained to earn more and more money while a female is taught how to lure the rich - as a party doll.

Should they be? - No
Are they? - No
Are they fully capable of doing every job that a man does? - Depends on the woman or the man and the job
Do they deserve equality of vote, wages, job opportunity when qualified? - Yes
Men and women are physically and pschologically different. That is a scientific fact. Women are often better at math and verbal skills than men. Men can appear to be more analytical thinkers than women. As far as the religious aspect, depending on which version of the Bible and which sect you belong to, women are equal or should be submissive to men. There's no clear cut definitive answer. Now I have to go or my wife is gonna kick my a**.

I believe that women should get paid an equal salary for doing the same job as a man....but truly...some men are more superior to other men..no one is "equal"....some are stronger, some more handsome, some funnier....everyone is unique...why be equal?

Not necessarily equal, cause no one would vote for a female president. Women are in no way equal to men.

Not as you ask it. We all should have equal opportunity. If we were equal in every detail then we all would be exactly the same as each other. Using the term equal can not apply in the way you used it.

Yes, of course.. God is no respecter of persons. He Loves us all equally and made each of us unique and special..

Just because you stand up to pee doesnt make you a special, so much better than me, human being.

For goodness sakes just look at the mess you men have created in the world..

I am more than positive that women couldn`t screw things up worse than you all have..

God bless & hugs from Texas. {:-)

We have to have equal rights under the law. There is no way we can be equal in everything, like muscle mass for example. We are equal in the ways that make us human.

No I don't. I don't believe women should be police officers, in the services, or fire fighters, etc. I don't think they should be allowed in "men" type sports (like Race Car Driving...and Men Only Golf clubs...)...Yeah. I am SO sick of women trying to prove that they're "just as good as men". Get over yourselves!

wot do u mean should be they are!! But since opportunities r not distributed equally we ought to make correctives and ensure they r treated equally... which does not mean they should be treated in the same way... there should be respect for difference.
