Project on Disney's attitude to women.

They're not very representative on the shape of most women, though typically, when you look at the era in which stories were written, they don't really have -that- independent of a streak - Disney has to tred the fine line of telling the story and making it palateable for the present. And sometimes these days, you have a hero or heroine that is stronger than their opposite. Take it as a story and only one lesson, but don't use it as the only way to live.

No, because she is ethnic. In Western society, a "good" representation of any gender is caucasian (sadly).
