Yes, if you have a TV tuner card in your PC, you can hook it up to the receiver for your satellite service. However, you can't just plug the satellite cable directly to the TV tuner...it will not be able to decode the signal. As long as you have a receiver hooked up, you should be good to go. I do that now on my PC.

Not sure exactly what you're asking here, but you can buy a capture card for your PC (I recommend the Hauppauge brand) that can take video from any source such as your Satellite receiver, VCR, etc..

You can then turn your PC into a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) to pause live TV or record to a file for playback later or to record to DVD. There are lots of options here. Wish I understood your question more...

Yes, there exist some cards, usually for PCI slot, for
watch sat TV on a pc. They are work the same way
like TV tuner cards, you can connect the sat antenna
to it. One example for them is the SkyStar1 and SkyStar2
family cards.

Yes you can. If you have a TV tuner card and the correct driver for your card. The card alone will not do you much good.

you can watch some movie channels from sky on your pc if you subscribe to sky. i think its free ,you would have to check up on that.
