Believe it or not, one of THE best networking tools is MySpace. I got SEVERAL contacts threw there for writing reviews. I see casting calls on there all the time. Get a MySpace account (free) and look me up http://www.myspace.com/dingermtb You'll find SEVERAL independent film companies in my friends list. I only deal with independent horror filmakers. With MySpace, sooner or later, you'll have your chance for sure. Friend me, and I could send ya to a new director/filmaker. My partner and I are co-writing a script with him, and producing his film, Cannibal Farm. I believe he's still looking for people.

Check out if any of your local schools have a film club, or colleges have film programs. Then audition.
