Midnight starts at 0000.
And it progresses normally for the first 12 hours, 0100 0200 0230, etc etc...

Once you hit 1:00pm, it continues to 1300hrs.
2pm 1400
5pm 1700
8pm 2000
11pm 2300

Until it hits 2400 and resets to 0000.

If it is after noon, go 13:00 and continue.

When trying to figure it out, subtract 12 hours. Example: 17:45 is really 5:45 in the afternoon/evening.

If the time is less than 12, it is that time, in the morning. Example: 09:00 is 9 in the morning.
