It's possible, but very, very unlikely. Even when two galaxies "collide," stars do not hit each other. The distance between stars is much, much, much larger than the diameter of a star. It's kind of like two cars driving toward each other, only one is in New York and the other is in L.A. It's possible that they will collide, but it's very unlikely.
