I had mice myself, we caught all 14 of them in traps, I know you say you don't like traps but they do work! Look all around your house for gaps in the floorboards holes etc; where ever you see the mice coming from place the traps there. Yeah they could be coming from your neighbors, ask them if they are having a problem with mice, you could have a few family's of mice there as they breed so quickly also check the outside of your house because they can easily climb up through the pipes as they have no backbone. If you don't want to use the traps put some rat poison down, that will definitely finish them off, also there are some good sonic devices out there too which you could buy in a local d.i.y store. If the problem persists after you put the poison down you will have to call an exterminator. Best of luck, hope you get rid of them soon!!

I live in the country and constantly have little field mice that come in. I bought some of those new looking plastic traps that look like a clip for chip bags, baited them with peanut butter, and it works like a charm. You never have to touch the mouse, just take the trap outside and release the clip.

If you don't have a dog, then I'd say use poison. They go away to die. I don't blame you for not wanting to use traps. They can be gross. I have used both at the same time if I am seeing to many. The glue boards are usually scented with peanut butter and mice love it. If you use a spring loaded trap raw bacon is a good bait. They tug on it to get and the bacon and BINGO no more mouse.

"I don t want to use traps" - that is what I thought for a while too. I was wrong. I had one trap that didn t seem to work, now I have several and with practice I have killed 10 mice in matter of a month.

Cheapest mouse traps with peanut butter as bait, set traps against wall so mouse has to approach bait from either side. I set several traps in a row in each spot.

If they eat the peanut butter up without triggering traps that is good, they will come back for more. Just put some more bait on and try again, You can also oil the pin that pops out to trigger the trap to make it more sensitive.

Sound like the mices are taking over your house and they are probably coming from your house and to you neighbors house...They have some very strong poison for killing rats and mice its in little and medium size green pieces and you put some on some sort of tray or cut down egg cartons they would great...Put about 10 or 12 pieces on the carton and push it under your house and check it in about 2or3 days and i bet they have eating all the pieces,so put more out and do the same thing, until the pieces are all there...Make sure you leave it under the house incase some more make there way to your house....If you have any animals make sure you kept the poison away from then...It will kill then just like the mice and rats....Your can find the green poison at any feed store....Just tell them its green and in pieces, they will know what it is...GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HUNT...

cheez whiz is the best stuff for traps,1/4 tsp smeared on the spot.Mice run along walls. set them along the walls where they run. If you have nasty neighbors, it'll be a never ending job. Cats get lazy wont eat them all, even if they're hungry. any good bait will have coumadin, they eat it , go to the nest and die-- and the carcass won't stink..sticky traps work but they are messy, and you wind up with a live mouse stuck to that nastypaper that you have to do something with.. I use traps and coumadin bait both with good success
