-Have a solid resume (look at good examples online) posted on the big job sites: HotJobs/Monster/etc.
-Apply for positions you are qualified for
-Don't expect a callback for 90% of the jobs you apply for
-Be confident, personable and prepared when you get the interview

As always, network as much as possible with people in your profession. 'Who ya know' goes a long way.

2. Do an internship
3. Some employers actually look for people who haven't been in the profession that long, so if that is you, that might increase your chances.
