I'd be Haldir's brother Rumil. He cares very little for Men and their ways and never bothered to learn the Common tounge.
Of course, he lived in Lorien. But then he sailed west to Valinor (with Haldir, who did NOT die at Helm's Deep because he wasn't there) where he happily dwells beyond the world's ending.
As for dating, I don't need to. But there are still some very lovely Maia in Valinor....
(By the way, I'm talking from the book, not the movie)

Eowyn is my popular character, she is unhappy and strong and is rather plenty the only woman character to circulate via an significant replace. She is likewise the single i can relate to because of the fact she has an incredible worry of dealing with existence no longer noted and Wormtongue prays on her fears. and that i had my very own Wormtongue for a protracted time. So i can perceive along with her tries to interrupt unfastened. My least popular character is Saurman the White. He betrayed Gandalf and thanks to his very own thirst for means fell pray to the dark Lord. in many techniques, i think of that makes him greater risky because of the fact his authentic nature wasn't obtrusive and others had placed their have faith in him. If i might desire to fulfill all and sundry it may well be Bilbo. I mean it began with him, did no longer it? He'd in all likelihood have a important sort of exciting issues to assert. And he'd grant solid food at the same time as we talked i'm specific! i might in all likelihood be a Hobbit. perhaps Rosie or an in any different case unnamed Hobbit. i admire the belief of the trouble-free existence Hobbits lead. Tending a backyard, eating and gossiping in a pub, making a song and dancing, their love of food (incredibly that!). Having no actual activity or theory for the broader international around them and the broader international having no actual activity in them. A quiet existence, an trouble-free existence. and that i've got continually cherished to sounds of Hobbit Holes, being particularly short myself! :-)

I would be Tom Bombadil. The only character the ring does not affect, I would stay where i was in the book and I think I would stay away from dating, it might confuse me.

I would be a dashing blond elf (could be Celeborn or Legolas or whoever) and would date snotty Haldir (he is alive in kicking in the book) and live in the Mirkwood

I suppose I would have to be Gandalf the White. I can't remember the name of the black haired fairy, but I thought she was awfully sexy, so I'd have to choose her. My friends gave me the nickname Gandalf, probably because of my white hair. (I'm 50)
