bangalore is an international destination. so we do have one airport which has international flights on its list..... but its not sufficient for the international standards......and hence we cannot call it an international airport as such! so we have another one coming up at devanahalli, around 30 kms from bangalore city... this should be open by 2008 if all goes well!!!

international flights have been flying in and out of bangalore for the past few years.. though the airport currently is leased out to the Bangalore Airport from HAL.. Devanahalli is where the "real" bangalore airport will open in 2008..
