I'd say boxer shorts are probably best right afterwards for the first few days or so. And then you should be able to wear whatever you want as long as it heals properly.

Usually, it's better if you wear something airy. After a few weeks after healing, you can wear anything. It depends on the person actually. Right after I was circumsized, I could wear briefs eventhough it was unadvisable. But to be on the safe side, why don't you take a few days off first, or if you have to wear trousers, try wearing boxers or anything airy.

My thought would be boxers but the more important question is WHY are you getting cut. If is for medical reasons ok but if you think it will make you look better forget it and you will also have less feeling when you have sex so you really need to think about it if is it for a non medical reason that you are going to have your penis partly amputated

Boxer. Your penis wouldn't be "block" by anything. I think not wearing any underwear is also a good way.
