Because people don't want to walk or take a bike. Frankly I think we should invest more in hybrid cars and public transportation as it would at least help with the Gas "problem".

Boycotting gas stations would probably not do anything except shut down the gas stations. Gas is used for other things like plastics, and paint, so the price of gas would still stay high.

Oh come on, what are you really saying?

Stop driving? Take a bus? Car pool? Trade in the Hummer for a moped or bicycle?

Boycotting a gas station by itself accomplishes exactly squat.

Because gas is still cheap compared to the rest of the world. I did not buy my SUV or my SVT Cobra Mustang for gas mil age. If it goes to $6 dollars a gallon i could care less. Flooring it every chance i get...

Diogenese (sp?) has it right. But I don't have the time to boycott; I'm too busy working to pay for my gas.
