It's your mind. That happens to me, too. It is a truly vivid dream that you believe. Therefor, your mind uses what you believe it would feel like and that's what you feel.
I used to have this dream when I jumped off my house (creepy, right?) and it always made me want to vomit. (i'm afraid of heights)

Because what you feel, taste, and touch are electrical impulses interpreted by your brain. If those impulses are triggered in the brain, even if the self-induced and not from an actual source, your brain doesn't know the difference, and so you feel it like it is real.

It harkens back to what Morpheus said to Neo in the Matrix:

What is real? How do you define real? If it is something you can see, taste, or touch, then real is simply electrical impulses interpreted by the brain.

So, if when you feel the "real" thing, it is just your brain responding to the electrical signals, what's the difference if the the electrical signals are triggered without the "real" thing? Nothing...

your mind is one level of reality
your body is another reality
your mind is your spirit
and your soul records the experiences of your body

the spirit inside your body, locked inside the lower cerebellum
behind your head, dat part of your brain dat conects to your spinal cord of the skeleton of you body frame
your brain is a machine dat will execute at your command

when you go to sleep at night , your body goes through 4 stages of sleep mode, proven by science
what science can't prove is why and how does it happen
alpha, beta, delta and omega
4 states of mind

In Alpha, you are buying a cup of coffee at Starbuck
In Beta, you just had a Big Mag and you feel sleepy
in Delta, you flew like a true Goddess
knowing you were greater in the dream world than dis one
in Omega, you demanded a wish and were granted the wish

to be and to live in a magical world where only peace existed
even though only hell exist on the surface
we are of the generation dat will change dis crazy world
into a place for us to live in harmony

like life we can dream with our senses, everything we take in we absorb as we go about our life and our unconscious and subconscious interprets and projects when we sleep.
