If the Mets continue to perform the way they have been, then they will take the series, hands down. They are my team, but I am not saying that because they are my favorite. I say it because they are in fine form and playing incredibly well. At the beginning of the season, I believed in them. Now I am absolutely convinced they have it. All they have to do is keep playing like they have been so far this season.

My favorite team is the Pirates, but unfortunately they have no chance of making the playoffs, much less winning the world series. I guess with that in mind, I would have to go with the Houston Astros now that they have Clemens back & they have last years experiences to grow upon.

My pre-season pick was the Cleveland Indians over the New York Mets. The Mets have been holding up their end, and the Indians are traditionally a late-season club so the outlook is good for my picks.

I love the Royals but unfortunately they aren't going to be going to the World Series....lol....I think it will be the Tigers and the Mets.I'm not sure who will win.I hope it is the Tigers because they were so bad in 2003 so I think it will be cool to see them come from so far back to be the champions.

White Sox will do a repeat, since I know my Cubs won't be winning it this year. Oh well, there's always next year. If the Red Sox can do it and the White Sox can do it then the Cubs HAVE to be able to.

It's hard to say this early, but (with apologies to non New Yorkers), I would like to see another subway series with the Yanks and Mets. I'm a die hard Yankee fan, they are way overdue, so definitely the Yankees.
