I read about and see the results of child abuse. I do not like the hotline system in my state. Children who should be removed permanently are reunified and later murdered. How can parents continually abuse and get away with it?

Child abuse affects society worlwide. Unfortunately some of the current systems are flawed and some parents continually abuse their children. However, for those of us who care, it is important not to give up, trying to make a difference out there. Your voice is important, so keep speaking up about it, at every opportunity. You never know who might be listening, it may be a conversation that will help someone get the strength they need or courage to take steps into action towards a shelter for themselves and/or their children, that have been living in fear for who knows how long. I applaud your bravery, thus far, way to go!

Well, you see this is a very interesting topic. The problem with removal is that you have to be really sure that abuse occured. I was recently lectured by a protective services worker in texas that told me that my 8 and 10 year old children doing laundry was bordering on abuse. Do I think that is crazy? Absolutely I do.
Was i spanked as a child? Yes I was. Were my parents ever questioned or sent to counseling because of it? No they weren't. I believe that CPS workers spend too much time chasing stupid allegations and letting the true criminals go.

No matter how much politicians tell us they do they don't actually care about the abuse issue. If they did the system would have been changed ages ago. This situation will carry on escalating due to the overall moral decline we have witnessed and are witnessing around the world today. I'd hate to be here 2000 years from now. Sorry there is no nice answer to this question.

this started 30 years ago... why parents in america abuse their child? well its the TV. every day a child in america is exposed to violent, gangsterism, social problems through TV for at least 700 times in 4 hours. imagine they watched tv since year 7 until age of 17... billions of bad images stayed in their brain's memory. And those images became their beliefs and ways to act or react.
Now they became your parents..... and you will someday become someones parent in the future... things will get worse if we do not control the habit of watching TV.

Children have no voice in a society and they are also afriad to speak out. Besides, they don't want to say anything against the parents. They are afraid that if they said anything, they won't have anyone to feed them and clothe them anymore.

Because the system is broken. Because it costs money to fix it and the individual cities, counties and states have other things they want to spend the dollars on.
