no you just have to understand where people are coming from and why they act the way they do. If i am being bitchy I probably dont mean to its just what is going on in my life or something that happened to me that makes me the way I am.

I've never been to India, so my experience is limited, but the Indians I have met and the ones on this site seem to me to be very polite. It sounds like you may have had a bad experience with one Indian and generalizing. They call that prejudice or bigotry, or even racism, where I come from.
