Hi,
Currrently I can hold my breath for almost 1 minute 15 seconds.
But I want to take it to 2 minutes and more by practicing.

Is that ok. I mean is it safe?

Abhay.

No harm you can increase time if you can for more than 2 minutes. It is a excercise. Indian yogis used to hold their breath for many hours.

This author, when he measured last was holding for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. And it is possible to increase this time by special breathing techniques invented by Tantrik Master Guru Padmasambhava of Tibet.

It's safe if you're underwater, that is, but I don't think keeping your brain from oxygen needed will be good for two minutes above ground.

It's safe. Just don't do it to the point of passing out.
