I care, it just means that the Canes will take the Cup on the Oilers home ice. Oh well. I must say that last night game was the best I have seen the Oilers play this whole series. GO CANES!!

Because you are an NHL fan, that's why! Besides, don't you want to see what kind of a team your team has lost to? OILERS have been playing very good!! It would be "un-American" not to care because Carolina HURRICANES are playing super good against the Oilers!

I care! Though I am not a huge fan of either team, the Oilers have done alot in the playoffs. Since they beat the all-mighty Red Wings (my favorite team) in the first round, I have been hoping they go all the way.

I predicted before the game last night if Edmonton win game 5, they will proceed to win game 6, and force a game 7 where it is up for grabs.
I think last night was an excellent game, eventho the refereing by devorski was quite disapointing.
We had big players-Pronger, Peca, Hemsky break out of their scoring ruts and return to playing the way they were in the past series'.
Hopeing they can carry the momentum forward through game 6 and Jussi will have another strong showing.

Is anyone else impressed with the way he is playing?

Anyone that loves the sport and have followed it for a long time care and you don't have to be Un-American to say so.

No you don't. I don't really believe so-called national patriotism comes into play so much in the states when it comes to the "national" base that a team comes from. However, I do believe a Canadian team winning the cup would especially energize them far more than an U.S. based team winning it would for people from the U.S. Hockey is essentially Canada's official sport (though its really lacrosse). Given the teams that have been "stolen" from Canada in recent years (Jets, Nordiques, etc.), Canadians would get a little more joy seeing one of their teams win it.

Canada cares, Gretzky (a.k.a, the Great one) cares, as does Don Cherry and myself, (non-Canadian!) Congrats to the Oilers!! That's hot!

I care, Edmonton all the way!! I am Canadian!!! I always go for the under dog in these cases. But lets face it, if Roloson was still in the net, Edmonton would have already won the cup!!

I honestly don't care about who gonna win the cup. The important things it's the show, the game. The both teams are full of good canadian players, who honestly care about the team ?
