This is not a philosophy question. It is not a question. It is you putting your religious beliefs on show and thinking everyone should be like you.

Don't use this forum to try and sell your beliefs to everyone so you can feel powerful and correct about what you believe. It is not humble. I think your God expects that of you too.

Jesus drink wine and other disciples and christian does so too. So the sin is getting drunk, not drinking. Drinking alcohol in moderation is fine.

I believe in a god, or rather, some spiritual being out there. I don't think that it asks us to do anything. The god I believe in is the good that is in ever person. Man, I know it sounds stupid, but it works for me. That way, I don't have to follow all those stupid rules that God supposedly told Moses. Anyway, how can you prove all that stuff that's written in the Bible. It's impossible, so I'm not following any eating rules established by some random man who lived over 2,000 years ago.

Oh sure enough, not a doubt for a 1/1000 Th of a second. All He ask us are good for us.It does not matter for Him.So,one has to do things which are in your interest. Will you jump into fire?Like this what all He ask us are without any doubt in our interest. Please never ever think of defying Him.Though He is merciful yet He is also the best judge and would not excuse you for ever for your bad deeds particularly against human beings.May Almighty God show us the right path.Amen|

Yes i am a strong believer of God though some times gets pain in mind but this might have some reason.I think one can leave or sto drinking alcohol or others as you mentioned but slowly not like that do it now. This is not true that who is drinking alcohol is not a good man.For health it is not good to consume in excess.Otherwise it is ok.

Yes I believed in God. If I were you, I rather to choose Him totally. God can change you by doing unrighteous things that you do. Religion is an exact science. So there is only one true Religion. The Church of God.Bible is the fundamental Knowledge.
When I found the truth about God, I've choose Him rather to leave because God can call you once, so if denied him he will also reject you.
Once I've met him I started to change my life even of my some vices that I'm doing last times.

I, for one, will start listening when people like you stop trying to tell me what God is, what God wants for ME, and acknowledge that "God" may mean something different to me than it does to you, but it may not be any less valid. You aren't God, you don't have all the answers about God, so how can you tell me what God wants, or what's right and what's wrong? How can you prove that what you know is the absolute truth?

I'm sorry but God is nothing more than a fabrication and a fairy tale to frighten the less enlightend among us into confomity. A way of subjugation and control through fear. This is the purpose of all religions. Jules, Australia.

The great sacred texts were written by fallible humans, not an infallible God. It seems clear that human agendas and prejudices are reflected in the content of these writings. The reccomendations you speak of may be sound, but their soundness does not derive from their divine source. In other words, I would do what God asks of me, but only if what he asks makes sense anyway, irrespective of its sanction by a deity.

I don’t believe in God, therefore I would not obey Him.
Islamic habits are not really something big sacrifices. But what would you do if Allah asked you to do the same Abraham did? Now that’s what I call a test of faith.
