Muslims do not hate dogs, lots of Muslims have dogs as pets and treats them right. They believe that the dog, like some other creations, is impure. That means they are unable to touch the Quraan and pray until they cleanse themselves if they touch the dog. People say it's actually a myth, I'm not so sure but the closest I know that the Prophet Muhammad says to Muslims about dogs is not to keep them as pets. Any creation that Muslims harm without a valid reason such as defense etc... is a sin. So if there are Muslims abusing animals including dogs it's sinful.

You cannot continue fight on the basis of religions. Time has come to think of establishing one common religion, one culture and one Government for the universe with a common language. God gave this world for everybody. It cannot be divided on the basis of man made ideologies and dogmas.
