whenever i tried installing it, it says that it is for english version. mine is english, so please help.

What OS are you running? I have a computer that is running the German version of Windows XP, and I couldn't install a couple of games for that reason. The reverse was also true when I tried to install a German game on my English Windows OS.
Also make sure that you meet the requirements. Even tho the requirements to play are low, you have to meet AT LEAST the minimum.

The difference between this game and the original launched several years ago, is that it now includes several game modes that increase the duration of the game. Not all of them are online multiplayer, there are some modes focused on playing against bots in a local area. As always, you will be able to play in classic maps with the same gameplay, but in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive there are new modes.
