Baseball and Cricket are not exactly the same type of bat and ball games. Cricket is more about the technique of placing the ball while the ball is coming from a variety of bowling actions from spin to fast. It would not do any good if Mr. Dhoni who has the natural talent to hit the ball starts playing base ball to improve his cricket shots because for one thing he will always get double minded when playing a stroke whether to play it as base ball or conventional cricket. Spinners like Murlitharan or Abdul Qadir or Kumbley can produce a versatile array of balls in spin and playing baseball won't help Dhoni in dealing with those balls. As for playing shots is concerned I feel he is already doing that and the recent West Indian tour of Indian team and the last year's tour of Pakistan has proved that. Won't it be like asking a dolphin to try swimming in our pool to improve her skills in ocean? Or ask a golfer to play hockey? No, I think these are two different kinds of sports and a playing cricketer can improve his skills by pratising more.

No, Dhoni shouldn't play baseball . I dont find any problem with his shots which he plays to send the ball towering over the grounds. Moreover cricket is not all about big bang kind of shots u have to drop the anchor as well to save the match and play according to situations. If he plays base ball then he will be thinking of making the ball disappear from the playing area all the time. So its better for him to play cricketing shots only .

there is no need to pracitice for him because he is a champion of sixes. He just has to hit the ball at right times when a wicket has gone or the game is going to end a crucial one.

shota was never a problem of dhoni.he hits extremaly hard.but the major problem is tht he hits higher and higher.so he gets out easily.but tht was a silly idea to make him play base ball now at this moment leaving about west indies match right?

We name you "Sir" it doesnt imply that you just have got to supply such a lot recognize to the bowler, however you got this identify for the reason that we notion you're going to get our workforce to a professional whole! That ultimately cleared up the brain of Sir RJ.
