after many trys to sync data the computer will not stay on, emails were sent from the default email account to unknown accounts. pda will not connect, computer shuts down when pda is connected and will not connect to its "server" or main destination.

If you can't turn ur computer back on, then you can't fix it. usually, with a virus that strong, you can't fix it. UNLESS you know exactly with files on your computer it is attached to or where it is

Absolutely possible. Sounds like a virus. This happened to me; I emailed the PDA company and they had me reset the thing and do some other programming. I'm no computer expert, but it's certainly possible!

Yes it is! Especially if you get a virus from the PDA (you can even get them from cell phones!).
