Pretend you ahve a sleeping disorder and just collapse on the floor and fall asleep. Eventually, they'll just walk away.

Trust me.... I do it all the time.

2 strategies:

1) Just yes them. "uhuh, yeah, really? wow!" repeat these as needed. If the other person just wants to talk this is all they need to hear. Of course you'll still be bored and stuck.

2) Get a little weird. Since this is a person you don't really want to be talking to get a bit stranger than normal. "Oh that reminds me of the little man who stole my dog for parts" or an alien abduction or your days in the circus.
