I wouldn't know because I do not recycle. Since you are trying to conserve, why don't you just chew half a piece and save the other half for the next day?

I always put mine in one of my socks, if anything this gives it added flavour and I can make it last a week.

not if it still had flavor when I put it there.........no amount of bugs, ants, or flies........have ever taken all of the remaining "flavor" while I was asleep.............however, the better place to put it is in the butter dish "holder" in the side of the door of the frig........

family members LOVE to find ABC (already been chewed) gum in there!!!
