It really depends on the maturity level of the people involved...Whether it is the two in the relationship, the family that the couple has close ties with, and everyone else who may possess an opinion that has value.
Any relationship can work, with the commitment of both individuals involved. Certainly a couple shouldn't see their differing races as a point of conflict, rather a platform of opportunity. If both people are inquisitive and accepting, then there isn't any limit to the level at which they can function in both worlds.
Many people still maintain old prejudices, and it's difficult to escape from that. It can be done.
If you're currently in that situation, the best of luck to you!

If you asked this question years ago in the 1950's in southern USA....I must say you would have so many replies your eyes would cross for sure....depending on where you are in the world " interracial relationships " are viewed so differently. Religion and upbringing plus your culture all plays a role in our feelings on this subject. In the past personally I was totally against it. As time has passed I've begun to be more accepting of others having these relationships but not me personally. The children that come from these couples I feel suffer more with teasing and other problems that is what I'm against how the children are mistreated. Right now in the USA with all the middle eastern people coming to our shores and the Mexican people also, our colors are going to be mixing for sure. I believe in time the Caucasians will be less and less if the mixed relationships continue.

Love is neither white nor black nor Asian or anything else...if one person cares about another person, that's the most important thing. I am a white girl and I like an Asian guy, I don't see any problem with interracial relationships. Some people might have a problem with it, but those who do are more superficial and have a lot to learn.

It should be the most wonderful thing to happen to humans. It should be a part of "GLOBAL VILLAGE" strategy to encourage interracial relationships. Perhaps it could be the answer to current global conflicts and ushering of a new era of "ULTIMATE GLOBAL HARMONY". So called 'international intellectuals and think-tanks' must ponder deep over it. Collective awareness and efforts are needed as individual and sporadic efforts have existed for centuries in our societies.

Whose right is it to judge as long as two people care for one another. Aren't we all made of the same flesh and bone? We all have the same type of beating hearts. Yhe only difference is the color of our skin and that makes us unique and special. I think it is what is on the inside that matters in a relationship.

I think ladies with a darker skin color are so sexy, I would marry a lady with dark skin in a second, ( plus turn out the lights then your both the same, then personality and morals are the question )

I have no problem with it. Love should be colorblind. I would like to see more and more of it as each increase in interracial relationships is a decrease in racial intolerance.
If more people in this world were colorblind, we'd have a much more peaceful existance.

Is it because your unsure on how to approach it? I think if you have the desire to date a person your interested in, and he is of a different race, you shouldn't be embarrased or worry what your friends have to say. There's nothing to think about when it comes to interarcial dating, unless you come from Backwater, USA.

I fully support them.
If nothing else, inter-racial relationships will be the final eliminator of racism. Once we're all mixed, there will be no 'one' race to take a side with.
