Has anyone heard the prognosis of U2s' The Edges' child ?

The last 10 dates of U2s' Vertigo World Tour was cancelled due to the serious illness of a close member of the band. Rumor puts the source of a child of The Edge. Has anyone heard of the actual cause of illness, and is everything okay now? Any talk of the rescheduling of those dates?

I have heard that she has cancer. I'm not sure what type but that is what has been going around. Whatever it is, I hope she gets better. That's seems like too much pain for a parent to bear.

OMG! I never knew anything was wrong with his child. I hope he or she is alright. That is so sad for any parent.
