It's been 3 years since I had my son and I still have what some people call the "Swollen stomache" and a bit of excess skin on my lower abdomen. Will crunches help? I don't know what to do!

Crunches won't help your lower abdomen, but lifting your legs from a laying position, the slower the better will help. I have heard good things about ab work with those inflatable balls. Denise Austin can help, too - she has some great video tapes, some designed around pregnancy issues.

Yoga can help, also - I think the most helpful link I could give you is the Yoga Journal's Pose Finder: http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/index.cfm?ctsrc=welcome

You can choose the anatomical focus and get a list of poses that you can do for it, along with detailed instructions how to do it and contra indications (when you should not do each pose). It's a wealth of information.

my mom has that too, and even though she's in the best shape of her life, that skin does not go away. the only thing you can do is get a tummy tuck, and that is expensive and dangerous.
