Yeah. They should legalize it, tax the hell out of it, and try to pay back some of the money wasted on the war on drugs...... help us get out of debt a little. But the government would have to admit they were wrong in some instances, and they'd actually be held responsible for tax dollars gone askew. Not going to happen.
**Oh, I totally agree with how much safer pot is than alcohol and especially cigarrettes. Alcohol, the only drug whose withdrawls can kill you- and cigarettes, which contain nicotine, the most addictive drug on the planet, are both available 24-7.
Look at social issues. You don't hear about a man coming home stoned and beating his wife.
I don't see how legalizing pot would make people more apt to leaving it out in the open for small children to get a hold of. It would hold the same accessibility as cigarettes and alcohol. If I had no other choice, I'd rather my kid be smoking pot than cigarettes, especially after learning what chemicals they have been putting in them- sharing some components with crack.

You mean, should pot be legal again in the US? I recommend reading "The Emperor Wears No Clothes". I think it's called, by Jack Harar, I believe. Smoking pot has never been proven to be linked with disease, but there are several legal drugs, hello alcohol and tobacco, that are killing our families, slowly but surely!

The results of marijuana are lengthy ranging, from lack of mind fuction, exceptionally within the reminiscence phase. To a lack of motivation. Marijuana is not whatever that demands to be legalized, to not point out the vehicle twist of fate fee you're watching at. Many suppose it does not end result riding, but facts exhibit that certainly it does. To examine it to alcohol or cigarettes is unreasonable and ignorant. To validate whatever already evil you can not examine it to 2 different evils. These are matters that are supposed to be out lawed however as a result of their presence in historical past and the culture they have got stayed. Alcohol could by no means be legalized if invented at present... So no marijuana should not be authorized.

YES....
Pot is less harmful then alcohol, and we sell that with no problem at all.
It's stupid, most other countries find it safe enough to make legal, why not us ? I am from the USA and it's way over due to make pot legal.
I think it needs to be controlled the same way alcohol is. Nobody under, 21, and NO using it if you are going to drive.

The countries and states that have legalized marijuana have not suffered one bit because of it. Marijuana in non-addictive, impossible to overdose on, and causes fewer adverse health effects then alcohol or tobacco. As it is, hundreds of thousands of non-violent, otherwise law-abiding citizens are being locked up alongside rapists and murderers for exercising their right to do what they like with their own bodies, the most immediate and inalienable right we humans have. We will not live in a free country until our country legalizes marijuana.

No. We're having problems feeding our own country drug free and motivating them to work. Could you imagine legalizing pot? Then they'd have an excuse!

Yes, because there would be fewer people in the prison system and the goverment could use the extra taxes. It would also cut down on the number of users, because some people only use to rebel against the system.

yes, the war on drugs is a massive waste of government resources. the border with canada is virtually non-existent and the constant flow of canadian grown BC buds into the USA is almost impossible to stop.

I think yes then they would not have to worry about drug dealers selling it but i say no because then that means even the youngest child could get a hold to it because then no one would care about it lying around
