1. As we born on this earth. Any thing taken from the earth should be incorporated into the earth - Bhagavatgeetha (Hindu scripture). You are integral part of this earth. Another answer is "due to gravitational force exerted by the earth on you".
2. During 'bing ban' (explosion of Nebula), the molten mass of its content were scattered in the universe. At that time this molten mass was in the liquid form. So it took spherical shape due to its surface tension like a water drop takes spherical shape in the air.
In due course of time it solidified and the same shape became permanent. Due to the rotation of the earth the polar regions are flat because of the more centrifugal force along the equator regions.

bcoz its simple...
I guess Only this earth has water, air and sunlight..
Earth is round - shap bcoz it revolves for many million years..
for example pebble in rivers... when an object spins, its friction towards the air or water or some subtances would worn the irregular shape into a round shape... I guess this is the reason..
Chicken? Chicken does it on its own wish like you are asking craps in the name of questions.... while that chicken crosses the road.. wait for a vehicle to smash it.. then take it your home and enjoy your dinner.. or if you cannt wait then take vehicle and run on it yourself.. you cannt question the chicken but you can only cook it and taste it..
