I'm in the same boat as you. I live in Vegas and can't wait to leave here. Denver is on the top of my list of places to go to. 300 days of sunshine a year; NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL all within a few minutes of each other; microbrews and bars all over (vs. clubs in Vegas, which aren't my thing), its a also very college-educated city (the opposite of Las Vegas).
Outside of the cold weather (which the locals told me is really bad in the mountains, but the city isn't as bad), which I'm not used to, being from FL and now Vegas. I think I could deal with 4 snowfalls a year.
If you work downtown, there isn't much parking, all the garages that charge, and can be expensive. But thats about all I can think of as a con.
I would vote yes!

YES! I live in denver and love it! We have mountains, and they are always to the west, so you dont get lost.Downtown Denver is also small enough to get a kick out of it, but not too big. Also, the traffic is way better than Vegas. We also have an awesome Zoo. I would definitly reccommend Denver.

That depends on what is drawing you to Denver. Do you have family/friends/a job/school there? Do you have them in Vegas? Is it the cold climate of Denver you prefer over the desert of Vegas? Are looking to cash in your chips on a pair of skis? I guess it boils down to which city has the most to offer your tastes and needs.
