Yes of course we should. It really is a white mans world out there. Look at the majority of CEO's to large companies, heads of most churches, government officials including the President. What do you see? I'm tired of doing the same job as a man and getting less pay. It's a proven fact. And if you're a middle aged or overweight, you get even less pay. Of course they can't say that because it's discrimination, but it's true. I just turned 50 years old and have a college education. Back in the 70's my first husband who was a high school drop out made more money than I did, and today, will all my years of experience, I still can't find a job that pays as much as my present husband earns. He went to college too the same as I so education wise, we are equals. I work just as hard and he makes almost 3 times what I do. Not that I'm complaining, I'm glad he does because if we had to rely on my income, we'd be on welfare. But it's sad that after 30 plus years in the workforce I'm not making much more than I was when I started out. I've even gone back to school to further my education and skills but it doesn't seem to help. There are women out there who do make the big bucks and I'm very happy for them, but the majority of us never do. Sad but true!

As a man I say sure why not but consider this: women complain about being treated equal let me tell you something there is nothing worse than being a white man in this country (USA).
We are the bottom of the barrell. Black men make fun of us, If a wome has a change in sexual desire it's because she wants black men or other women. Try going to court as a white man who honestly loves his child and wants to be a great father.
Try explaining something to a cop when a woman is the uposet party or is dishonest.
Try getting a government job when you are not a minority and have to take a test.
Whats that dear, you need a 250 pound piece of furniture moved?
There are many downsides to being a man, I have plenty more but am depressing myself. I honestly believe men have many disadvantages but other groups (Women or minorities) want to focus on only the positives.
How about giving a father a 2 month leave of absence for a newborne? Maybe a woman should have to pay child support.
Don't get me wrong, I love women and am one of those guys who is absolutely more in touch with his feminine side than most guys, in fact the examples I gave don't apply to me and I am not a father. I'm just making a point.
If you were to explain what rights you specifically mean maybe I would answer differently. I'm guessing you mean should women be paid the same? Yeah why not! Treated the same, yeah why not.
I can only guess that you are implying that men have many things better than women and I don't agree with that.
Gosh darn I didn't think I would type this much...

We live in a society in which rights are trampled on everyday. Yes, women should have the same rights but so should NAtive Americans, African Americans, Latin Americans and hell everybody on theplanet should have the same rights. Though women were not given the civil rights that many other minorities got in the sixties (in writing) the country has prgressd into a state where women can have jobs, (Major WW2 influence) vote, and proven their equality towards men. Of course, back in ancient Roman times women were considered better than men.
This question is too deep to give a simple "yes" or "no". I believe everyone should be equal regarddless of race, gender, sexuality, creed, or any other pointless difference in human beings.

should men be able to have the same right as women?? Lets say that a woman becomes pregnant. She can choose to have that baby or not. A man cannot choose to have the baby or not. Is that fair? Just some critical thinking. hope you get something out of it.

Why does gender matter? Women work the same jobs as men, we should have the same legal rights. People should be granted rights on citizenship, not any other standard. After all, we're taxed the same.

No. Man and woman compliment each other but we are so different. Men should have right for certain things and women for others. You cannot expect the same from a woman as from a man, and viceversa.

The Bible says that women are the property of their husbands and should not speak unless spoken to.. A true Christian woman knows her place.. In the shadow of her man! PRAISE!
