Canopus makes some good ones. I use mine to convert old VHS home movies to digital, then edit and burn to DVD.

I've had a Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge for years but I don't know if they still make it - or make a different version.

Pinnacle Systems do some really good ones, but they aren't cheap.
