Sometimes to much scented soaps, sprays and douches make it worse. If there is nothing wrong medically it has to be that you are using the wrong products. First take a long bath instead of a shower. It kinda soaks everything. Then use a good deodorant soap like dial or safeguard and a good rag (very important). If you douche just get the medicated or vinegar and water, don't do this over once a week(read why on the bottle). Sleep without your panties, it needs to have fresh air!!!!!! Try shaving at least some of it. You know your armpits need to be shaved not just for looks but for odors as well so it makes sense. If you can, try to plan on all this just before you have sex. And always get up and wash after wards, don't let it sit there all night. If you don't do a whole shower or a full bath every night at least do a rag bath in that area!!!! I mean surely you don't have sex every night, if you do then follow those steps faithfully every night. Cotton crotch panties make a difference, it's not just an ol wives tale. It is breathable fabric. Don't use any perfumed feminine products, if you have them get rid of them. They can cause yeast infections too. Asparagus, garlic, onions etc. strong foods can make it worse too. Look that up, I'm not sure what all the food effects are. Hope some of this helped.

With too much spraying and dushing, you will achieve the exact opposite of what you are intending to do, which is to eliminate the "offensive"odor. The vagina has its own protection....when it comes to bacterias...by killing the good bacterias - you also get rid of the good ones. Don't soap yourself down there. The balance has to be maintained. You haven't given birth, yet, so , let me tell you this....after giving birth a woman is quite a mess down there, but she is to use only soap and water, even after healing. What does your boyfriend say about this? You know....the vagina has its distinctive smell...and it does not smell like flower, whether you are a princess or just a regular person. Don't obsess about it. Relax and again: don't wash yourself too often in that area. Also don't use deodorized liners, because these can also make it smell bad instead of good...stop all of the things you are doing and you will soon realize that it's going to smell normal down there...

I guarantee you that if you drink pure 100% cranberry JUICE (not drink-drinks only contain a small percentage of the actual juice) you will never have this problem again. Also eat lots of yogurt. Yogurt cures and protects against yeast infections and cranberry juice prevents and cures urinary tract infections/bladder infections. Make sure you didn't forget a tampon up there. Don't douche too much-this can cause a bad yeast infection. Do not use perfumed soaps either. Between the cranberry juice and the yogurt (do not consume both in the same half hour) then you will find this problem gone very soon. BTW Drinking cranberry juice makes you smell nice. And the things that you are doing eg excessive douching, perfumed soaps, spraying etc is messing with your normal flora and ph balance. You should bathe with a non-perfumed soap eg ivory.

This can be a real problem and a downer on sex - especially oral sex.
Often the culprit has to due with an imbalance of bacteria (usually Gardnella)...which is natural bacteria found in the vaginal tract. No amount of douching or bathing is going to make much difference. Go to your local drug store and start taking Acidophilus tablets. This another normal bacteria that should be in the vaginal tract. It should help. Do not douche any more. It doesn't help and it may make things worse.
Finally, I have heard that pineapple juice can improve things but have no first hand knowledge of it. If you elect to try this, do it in addition to the above advice.
Good luck.

You should get a second opinion from a different doctor. This is not normal. You might not have an STD, but maybe a bacterial infection called vaginosis which is caused by an imbalance of normal flora.
Like someone else said douching is not a good idea and could cause more problems.

It maybe its a hormonal issue, if nothing is wrong with it then maybe your just unique, Im a guy I dont know too much about vaginas but I do feel for ya.
The only info I can give is talk to a specialist.
Just a thought, what if your paranoia is worse than you thought and its not really as "stink" as you think. Not tryna be funny but maybe your paranoid.
Have you ever got comments on how it smells.
Well i hope you find help.

What you eat has a major effect on your smell down there....so if you don't want to smell so bad don't eat so much meat. USe a feminine wash like summer's eve and wash well. JUst don't put the stuff inside of you...wash the area thoroughly. IF this doesn't help....maybe you can go to a different doctor, you may have a yeast infection.

You have a PH embalance in your vagina and Douching is not good for you. It gets rid of the good bacteria (yes there is such a thing) Try taking a daily dose of AZO (you can find it at Walmart) it's great for yeast infections but if you take it once a day it should help equal out the ph balance. You can also try eating yougurt atleast once a day as well
