This time when your period stops, there is a medicine i.e ovral-l 30 tab pack in which 21 tab are white and 9 are black. Just start taking it for continously three months(white one only) ones daily it will regulate ur menses, in the some reaction will be seen on ur body but thats normal they will go away automatically.

It depends how long you've been on the depo shot for. When I had my first shot, I bled for three months straight. When I got my second one, the bleeding stopped and I didn't have any periods for a year until I stopped getting the shot.
Birth control pills are good for regulating the menstrual cycle, maybe thats something you might want to look into. (Not at the same time as the depo of course, but as an alternative)
Also, if your bleeding for that long, have your doctor check the iron levels in your blood to make sure you're not developing anemia.

The depo shot is designed to stop your periods, not make them longer. Maybe you should either stop the shot, or if you haven't been on it very long, give it a little more time to take effect. I was on depo for two and a half years, and I didn't stop breakthrough bleeding until about 8 months in. Be careful of the depo shot. It can have unpleasant side effects and you will be screwed up for awhile when you stop getting it.

You MUST see your doctor soon, because periods should never last 3 weeks!! A period usually lasts between 3-6 days max.
