Indian Standard Time (IST) is the time observed in all of India. At all times of the year the time is offset GMT+5:30. Since IST is calculated at the Allahabad observatory and Allahabad is 82.5 °E of the Prime Meridian, the result is that the time difference between Greenwich and Allahabad (as well as all of India) is exactly 5 hours and 30 minutes.
