It depends what you are looking for a cream base or powder. I find that MAC has some good ones and if you're shopping at a regular store, Loreal is good too.

MAC - is the best! I am an eye shadow freak and have tried all brands!

Mac have amazing colours, they last all day, the people at MAC are professional make up artists so they can show u some superb techniques! and the brushes are the best too!

If you're looking for single pots of eyeshadow, head for the MAC or Bobbi Brown counter. They have a wide variety of shades and the colors are truly awesome. For palettes, I suggest Dior 5 Color Eyeshadow. There's not one bad shade in the palette, and all combinations work.

I have small eyelids that crease and get greasy...the absolute best eye shadow that stays on all night and has amazing colors is MAC Paint. I swear by it!

they have $1 eyeshadows and glosses that are excellent. The awesome thing, besides quality and price--they don't test on animals!! I like the eye quad that has the Gold and purple in it.
