Can you recommend a American good rock band??

What kind of music are you looking for? Rock is pretty broad these days.

For sort of experimental rock, I'd check out Wilco.
For a sort of 60's pop/rock sound, I'd listen to The Minus 5.
If you are looking for a mainstream hard rock American band, I'd say go back to Nirvana, or Alice in Chains. Many bands since the grunge era have been pretty derivative. Might as well listen to the good ones.

One of my favorites has always been the Rockford, Illinois, band named Cheap Trick. They have been making music for a long time and have a new album just out within the last month. A good band should have 3 ingredients: guitar, drum, singer. And Cheap Trick has all 3. A live album or Greatest Hits album or one of their most famous "Live at Budokan," should get u started on the road to good rock music.

Let's See.... System of a Down, Nickelback, The All-American Rejects, Blink-182, Audioslave, Atreyu, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alkaline Trio, etc.... there are too many!

Depends whether u r into soft, alternative or hard rock.......
If u dig a lot of electric guitaring n heavy metal ..check out metallica or guns n roses...
Personally my fave rockbands wud be greenday, U2 and red hot chilli peppers....hope u have a nice time listenin to 'em....
