At the end of senior year- after Senior Week- my friends began patrying really hard (alcohol), with people they didn't know, getting really drunk... I wasn't into that- and I only have a few friends left that don't do that anymore- am I the loser or are they?

They are. You'll be happy in the future when you find out that your brain is still functioning and working while theirs have holes. (A little fact)

BTW, if they're so superficial, I'd suggest just getting other friends. They should force you, nor should they pressure you. I don't drink but my friends do. They know I don't and won't do anything to pressure me. In fact, they make parties dry at times for my sake. :)

Some people just choose that way of life and do not settle down until after 23. Neither is right or wrong you just choose to be responsible and that is a great thing. Maybe you should loosen up a little though. You do not have to drink to have a good time. It does not matter how many friends you have as long as they are good ones. Also just because your other friends party and drink does not mean that you can not still be friends. This is something all kids coming out of school have to deal with you all kind of go your own way. There is no popular groups anymore everyone is pretty much equal and choose thir own path in life. The world is very different out of school and only gets weirder.

The only way you would be a loser is if you participated in their activities just to fit in. You have made a wise decision, and in the long run you will be highly respected for standing by your beliefs. On the other hand, just because they have made choices that you don't agree with, doesn't make them losers. Some of your friends may have felt the need to experiment with alcohol, but trust me, several of them will decide that they aren't really "into it" either especially after their first hangover. If they are truly your friends, show them that you can have plenty of fun while remaining sober and they will join you.

i dont know if it should be labeled as looser. you have grown up and changed, obviously for the better, and they decided to stay in a rut. im sure your career will take off as there careeer is left in the club somewhere out there. you just grew better and thats all there is to it. hopefully they can see your prosperity and try to change their lifestyles.

you aren't a loser neither are they...just different interests. everybody is different, and everybody has different interest, hobbies and stuff they want to do..... just accept that, and life will go better, this is only one opinion
