Yes, we have a great recycling system in SF. One can for food scraps and yard waste, one for paper and bottles/cans, one for other trash.

No, the company that picks it up just gives us one container. And that's good or we wouldn't have as much room in our garage.

I separate out recyclables, but other than that no.
