Anyone use dressmaker machines?

Are they worth the money or should I get a regular sewing machine. They are a lot less expensive.

I really don't know that there is a difference! Buy a really good sewing machine from a reputable dealer. I just bought a Brother 6000 and I really like it. It's easy to use and has 100 stitch combinations. You can do a lot with a good machine.
