I forgot my passord and my secret question answer, I made the account alongtime ago...will they send me the secret question answer and if so how do I get it

If they did that what would keep anyone else from doing the same to getting into your account?

There is no way to do this online. After all, this would make it easy for anyone else to get access to your account. You can try calling Yahoo! Account Verification at 408-349-1572 (option 2, option 2 last I heard) to see if they can help you, but it's not toll-free and they're not guaranteed to help you if you don't have all the information for your account. Unfortunately, you may have to end up creating a new one unless you can remember.

You can also provide them with something to help then realize its your account.
But I really don't think you can do anything about it.
I don't know if Yahoo does this, but if you don't log in in awhile they might automatically delete you account so try to sign up for a 'new' account with the old screen name you wanted back.

no, they won't.
you will have to make a new account. They will assume you are trying to get someones password that isn't yours

i highly doubt they'll send it to you, but you can always try contacting them through email and asking.. the worst they can say is "no" right?

u can sugn up for another account.
