You kidding, to stop smoking is soooooooo easy. it's to stop completely...forever....that's the hard part. Nicotene is known as one of the most addictive drugs.oh...ehheheheheh sorry, i'm not trying to deter your spirits, i'm glad you want to stop. Just stop smoking. Thats it. I know its not anywhere near as easy as it sounds. here's the deal though. most people quit 6 or 7 times. then they either decide it's too late or stop completely. If you're going to stop, stop the First time. Remember, support groups are always available. Good luck and I know you will break the habit so have fun starting the non-smoking part of your life and I hope it lasts

a tip from beyond the mainstream stop smoking now tip page.there is an herb called lobellia inflata (indian tobacco nickname).although I haven't tried myself this is what I know.It is an ingredient in many of the herbal stop smoking now packets but forget those. just go to any health food store they sell it in capsules. It works the herb is chemically similar to tobacco and produces a nicotine-like effect while simultaneusly making tobacco smoke smell and taste repellant. don't waste your money on those packaged expensive herbal ripoffs just go straight to the source with lobellia inflata. a combination of many of these other techniques is a good idea too

These new patches and things would be good for you maybe. I quit in 1977, and I did it cold turkey because the religion I wanted to be baptized in doesn't allow smoking. It was very very difficult for me and it took me 3 years of crumpling the cigarettes up and fishing them out and picking up butts out of ashtrays before I finally was able to do it. I would suggest that you make it a matter of prayer and every time you want to smoke, pray to God for His help to stop and He will help you. I have been smoke free since 1977.

I quit in 1964 and all I did was throw them away and go Cold Turkey. After three days you are in the clear if you want to be.
