Hide? Your gonna hide? I want to see if they know how to party, it seems like its been ages since I have experienced a good party. By the way, in HG Wells "War of the Worlds" the aliens were killed by the common cold.

I wouldn't i'd find a way to fight them off or make peace. I could make peace by using rabbits, jello, and the ability to turn anything blue.See when they invade us, I would send out the rabbits and turn them blue. The aliens would be like...wait a minute there's no such thing as a blue rabbit. This buys me time. So i go over and negotiate. They say they won't invade Earth unless I defy the laws of physics or something. That's when I pull out the jello and they'd be so baffled to what it is they just leave.

well, let's see...first i would have to find out what their intentions are. do they want to destroy the earth? use it for commercial purposes? colonize it? conduct a scientific study? save humans from destroying the earth?
if the aliens were hostile, i would run into the mountains since i would probably be able to find freshwater springs and eat pine nuts and small lizards. mountains are great places to hide, especially if you have good survival skills.

I would not hide. I would fight to the death. Of course some people will assume that praying will magically make them go away and of course as any rational person knows that prayers never work

In your question it is not stated that it would be a violent submissive exploitative take over.
I then assume it would be a peaceful take over.
For mutual growth.

Why is it always assumed alien life forms will be hostile towards us? They (most likely) won't be human--they might not even understand the concept of "conquer" or "destroy"!
